Interesting new video via @KerryRM from Google on their new Chrome OS:

It’s an interesting concept, a browser-based OS, but it has obvious limitations. Your average low-end or netbook user might only use the Internet, but I until there’s some substantial evolution in computer-Internet interactions that can shift some of the more intensive local applications to cloud computing, this thing has limited appeal. I’m reminded of the NeoOffice, which used Java as a work-around for differences in OSs to run OpenOffice. I haven’t tried the latest version, but the version 2 kinda sucked.

More from Google on Chrome OS, which was released Thursday.
